I’m starting a new blog series called A Week in Review where I will share quick updates with you from my previous week.
The purpose of this series is to give you more information about products I like, recipes, books/podcasts, things I’m into, product updates/sales and quick links.
Well, I have a LOT to share. Most of my sharing happens on Instagram Stories (if you aren’t following then you are missing out!) or in my DMs. Unfortunately Instagram is not a great place to keep track of things, especially if YOU want to look back and see the product I recommended, the recipe I shared, or the “pro tip” I swear by.
Enter BLOG POSTS! The lost art is BACK! This way I can keep my email list short, sweet and USEFUL, keep my Instagram posts fun, and still have great resources for you to reference whenever you want. Let’s do this!
This book covers the nine different personality types of the Enneagram. I am a 7 (the Enthusiast), what are you? Learn your “deadly sin”, your “gift and curse” and to have compassion for how other people interact with you and the world. I LOVE typing people and my 5 husband “The Investigator” hates it! Typical 5…😂
Want to get more comfortable with death and answer the question “what’s next?” This book is about our life between lives… what happens when our souls leave our bodies and how we transition through different lifetimes. Its described in case studies and Q&A with the soul through hypnosis.
I’m all about easy recipes lately. This week I made the EASIEST recipe - Instant Pot Salsa Chicken from Fed and Fit. If you don’t have an Instant Pot, you can use a regular pot and increase the cooking time to 30 minutes. With about 5 minutes of prep time, I turned 2.5 pounds of chicken thighs into three delicious dinners:
Crunchy tacos with Siete Taco Shells (OMG they are so good)
Avocado and spinach salad topped with cold, shredded chicken
Taco bowls with romaine lettuce, shredded chicken, rice and a mango-avocado salsa
Coffee Tonics! Have you tried this? It’s essentially a barely-sweet tonic water infusion served over ice and topped with a shot of espresso. It’s light, refreshing and a perfect summer treat.
Hug it out. Research shows that hugging a partner or friend for 20 seconds is enough to release Oxycontin, the “feel good” hormone. In this hilarious and poorly written “research article” you can learn how to fix your marriage if it’s falling apart with a hug. You also get tips to hug when your partner is resisting… “Do not do anything to intimidate the partner. Just hold gently and firmly for 20 seconds.” I AM DYING WITH LAUGHTER. But yes, I am firmly and gently insisting John hug me for 20 seconds… it’s like forcing a cat to let you carry them around.
EMFs! Do you know about EMFs and how they may effect our health? I just dove into this topic this week. If you want to learn more about he Electromagnetic Field as it relates to technology, WiFi, bluetooth, and 5G and our health, here are some resources:

If you want to protect yourself, I recently learned about this CUBE that blocks the frequencies. They even have a travel one
That’s all for the first edition of A Week in Review. I hope these resources are helpful and enjoyable to you.
Happy weekend, my friends.
