A Week in Review (Edition #4)

JULY 1 - JULY 6, 2019

Happy July, Friends! This week marked my last day at my freelance job at o2 Group. I’ve worked at this company on an off for NINE years. That’s right…It was my first job out of college.

In fact, I applied there after finding an apartment across the street - they were not even hiring. I knew I wanted to work there and set it in motion. I reached them at the right time, and we’ve been together ever since. 😍

With recent alignment and MAJOR signs from the Universe, I realized it was time for me to close this chapter. My energy and focus will be directed toward Alignful, my upcoming workshop and the launch of the Shameless Self-Care membership (coming in September!). I will also help my mom in her business.

Lots of transformation on the horizon!

Here are my highlights this week:

Don’t forget to join my Self-Care workshop on July 20. To learn more or sign up, click here.

Shout out to my co-worker, Yazmin, who has been advocating for Library Cards for YEARS. She has finally convinced me to get one. Ya’ll, did you know your library card gets you access to FREE E-BOOKS, MAGAZINES and AUDIO books?

Now with the Libby app and my Library Card, I can read my favorite magazines, put books on hold and read some immediately. I’m talking real-deal magazines like The New Yorker, Vogue, Cook’s Illustrated, 5280 and more. Plus, I already checked, and the 4th book in The Gray Man series is available to read right now.

Pro Tip: Yazmin says the more library cards you get, the more access you get. So hit all of the counties and grab a card at each. Soon you’ll save so much money, you can invest in a new iPad to read all of those awesome books and magazines (which Yazmin did!).

Hop Alley

My brother, his girlfriend, John and I had a LOT to celebrate last week. The four of us went to Hop Alley for dinner. This Denver restaurant serves unique and fancy Chinese food.

Their specialty is Sichuan dishes, using the tangy-tingly-spicy pepper. It’s hard to describe… imagine eating Jalapeño Pop Rocks! We devoured many dishes with this pepper and I was suffering… but couldn’t stop. I used to do that with Flaming Hot Cheetos!

If you are in Denver and want to try a delicious restaurant, Hot Alley will treat you right. There are plenty of non-sichuan dishes as well, including my favorite - Duck Rolls.

Inner Voice Coaching:

Did you know I offer one-on-one coaching? With Inner Voice Coaching, I work with you to cut out the chatter of your mind, turn your attention inward and discover the answers to your questions. I help you figure out what you NEED, so you can let go of what is not serving you, and feel more at peace every single day.

This coaching puts you in charge and empowers you to dig deeper. It’s not scary, it’s fun! This summer, I’m offering “222 Special” - A 2-hour session for $222. If you have questions or would like to schedule a free intro call, shoot me an email.

Face Serum

If you’ve said goodbye to your 20’s, when your skin was elastic AF and didn’t show signs of neglect, then you need FACE SERUM. I consider this “advanced” skincare, but I also see it as the key to hydration, anti-aging and plump, juicy skin. 💦 Serums pre-moisturize your skin and absorb at a deeper level, due to the smaller particles. They also help your moisturizer absorb.

My favorite serum is from Beautycounter: The Radiance Serum. While serums are more expensive, after 30 days you will see that it’s worth every penny. Plus, you only need a small pump for each application.

Give it a try and see your skin TRANSFORM. Email me if you have any specific skin questions and I can help advise you.

Enjoy your weekend! Comment below if you try any of these resources.
